Dojo Zen Komyo was founded on 1989 In the city of Alicante. In 2002, It was established as the Zen Association of Alicante, formed by a group of practitioners and students of Buddhism Soto Zen, currently linked to teacher Zen Daizan Soriano.

Change and Consciousness
The Dojo Zen of Alicante is aimed at all those who feel the need for a deep change in human consciousness and that intuit that this change must begin from within.
The Dojo is created for those who feel the concern of undertaking the adventure of searching themselves. Its purpose is to guarantee the environment and conditions necessary for the practice of the Way of Zen., offering a suitable space to get started in zazen and have the support of a “spiritual technology”, passed down from generation to generation under the guidance of a true master of transmission.
Change is inevitable and it is our responsibility to participate in it, each according to their possibilities. Our proposal is to do it from a perspective that transcends our personal interests and from the freedom of action that the Way of Zen offers us., approaching awake consciousness.
The Dojo Zen de Alicante opens its doors and its heart to house all those committed to the search for happiness for all beings.
