Daizan Soriano received the Transmission of Dharma (depot) he 4 December 2020 from his teacher, the Venerable Taisei Dokushô Villalba (Tessie solo photo), abbot-founder of the Luz Serena temple and the Soto Zen Buddhist Community. This profound and significant step made him the sole and legitimate successor of his teacher within the sacred Lineage of Buddhas and Ancestors of the Soto Zen tradition., a legacy that honors and transmits with dedication and humility.

His spiritual journey began in 1993, when, still very young, He was driven by an inner restlessness that led him to the practice of Zen meditation.. six years later, in 1999, He was accepted as a disciple by the teacher Dokushô Villalba, thus consolidating its entry into the Soto Zen Buddhist Community, where he has developed a deep commitment to teaching and organization.

With a trajectory marked by its constant dedication, in 2006 He completed his training and began working as a Zen meditation instructor and teacher of Buddhist studies.. Over the years, He has held various functions within the Soto Zen Buddhist Community, highlighting his work in the areas of communication and teaching. Besides, from 2016 He is a Mindfulness Instructor at the School of Mindfulness, integrating this valuable tool into your teachings.

Currently, Daizan Soriano He is the director of the CSoto Zen Community Middle Way, where he guides those who seek to deepen the path of Zen with wisdom and compassion. In addition, He serves as teaching director of the Kômyô Zen Center in Alicante, from the Murcia Zen Center and the Elche Zen Group, sharing your experience and knowledge in each session, and transmitting the Dharma with the clarity and warmth that characterize it.
