What are the CSZCM urban retreats??
Welcome to a transformative experience in the heart of the city
Urban retreats organized by the Soto Zen Camino Medio Community (CSZCM) They are an invitation to stop, breathe deeply and reconnect with our awake nature in a close and accessible environment. These intensive days of practice and study are designed to integrate the spirituality and calm of Soto Zen Buddhism into everyday life., allowing participants to cultivate serenity and balance without having to leave their usual environment.
What can you expect at an urban retreat?

- Mindful practices: Mindfulness exercises in everyday activities, how to walk, eat or even moments of rest.
- Teachings and reflection: Talks and workshops focused on principles of Soto Zen Buddhism, with a practical approach that facilitates its application in daily life.
- Community connection: A space to share with other practitioners, strengthen ties and feel the support of a united sangha.
Who can participate?
Urban retreats are open to all people interested in exploring Soto Zen, from beginners to experienced practitioners. It is not necessary to have previous experience, as our sessions are designed to adapt to different levels of knowledge and practice.
Where and when are they done??
These meetings usually take place in comfortable and accessible spaces within the city., such as community centers or Zen dojos affiliated with the CSZCM. The programming includes a full day or weekend of intensive activities, combining the depth of retreat with the practicality of not having to travel far.
