Interview in Presentastic

last monday, Carles Caño invited me to his Podcast in Presentastic to talk about meditation and Zen Buddhism, I have been following your podcast for a long time because you have a very enjoyable way of communicating and I learn a lot while I walk through the streets of my city.. I thought it was a good idea to appear on your show., since sometimes it deals with topics related to meditation. It is an interview with a casual tone, in which we discussed topics that may be of interest to anyone who does not know Zen meditation..

These are some topics we have covered:

  • When and why Daizan Soriano he became interested in Zen Buddhism?
  • What types of Buddhism are the best known?, apart from zen buddhism.
  • What differentiates Zen Buddhism from other Buddhisms??
  • We share several definitions of mindfulness.
  • Some types of meditation.
  • The basics to practice meditation.
  • How to start meditating and where do we continue??
  • Count in groups of five…
  • What is mirror consciousness.
  • The difference between brain, mind and consciousness.
  • The crux of the matter: learn to observe without judging.
  • Are there contraindications for practicing meditation??
  • In Zen Buddhism, Do they hit you with a cane if you get lost or not??
  • Sounds play a fascinating role in Zen Buddhism :)
  • Empty the cup of our mind.
