We are taking a historic step in our community: the formal constitution of the Soto Zen Camino Medio Community (CSZCM). This milestone will not only allow us to strengthen our practices and teachings, but also deepen our ethical commitment to all beings, guiding us towards a circular economy, sustainable and based on the principles of interdependence and compassion.
Why do we need your support?
In this initial stage, we face the costs of formalization, which include notary and administrative expenses. The creation of the CSZCM as an official organization will allow us to offer accessible programs and activities that encourage personal development and social commitment. We want to build a community that overcomes individual limitations, supporting well-being through the practice and teaching of Soto Zen Buddhism and compassionate activism.
Our Commitment to an Ethical and Sustainable Economy
Inspired by the teachings of the Soto Zen Buddhist tradition, We intend to adopt an economic policy that respects both people and the environment. Our approach prioritizes conscious consumption, the circular economy and a sustainable income model, offering withdrawals, workshops and activities in tune with our purposes. We take into account that economic well-being should not affect our environment. In our practice and in our actions, We seek to reflect the values of the Zen tradition of simplicity, generosity and connection with nature.
